Pendulum Boom

Our heaviest format production boom which gets its name from the swinging action of the center frame. Each wing is constructed as a wide section truss made from 2″ x 2″ and 1″ x 2″ rectangular tubing with a 4″ pipe base section. We call these our “Torque” wings. Height adjustment is accomplished with a hydraulic forklift style channel mast. Cushioning is provided in four ways on this unit utilizing nitrogen accumulators plumbed into the hydraulics. The mast lift, pendulum center section, wing lift and fold cylinders are all tied to these accumulators. Wider wing sections have a middle 180 degree hydraulic fold for transport or maneuvering close to the fence lines. Some of the many options are:
